Is there a refresh button? The desktop app doesn’t show the most current updates like the online version.

Hi @gotographicsgal – Can you share with me what operating system you are using, and the version as well. What information are you missing on your app compared to the online version?
I think you may be running an older version of the app and you may need to update it.

Windows 7 64-bit. There’s no version number on the app, only a dialog box under Preferences asking me to select a Release Channel, Stable or Beta. Stable is the default.
When I click on the icon in my system tray, for instance, the Duplicator plugin shows “Last updated 2 months ago”. Accessing my acount on wordpress.com online shows “Last updated 8 hours ago” (correct).

Take a look at each menu in your app, and see if you can find an ‘about’ tab. This will tell you which version you are running and what the current version is. You can also check your downloads to find out which version of the app you are running.
I am using a Mac, so it may not be identical to your Windows app, but I think you should be able to locate the information with the above instructions.

I’m using the latest app version 1.3.3. As an example, I opened it this morning and it indicated that all plugins were up to date for one of my sites. However, when I log into that site, it shows the Duplicator needs an update.

Are you using the app for rosecreativestudio.wordpress.com ? Or for a WordPress.org site? If you’re not sure, can you share the domain here and I can let you know.

WordPress.com (here) is very different from WordPress.org. WordPress.org sites are self hosted using the installation of WordPress.

These are all wordpress.org sites. They are run through Jetpack plugin and managed on wordpress.com.
The problem I am having is with Jetpack’s update function on my .org sites.
