@wordpress.com email address and confirmation email.

I have just signed up for a free trail of Premium. It would appear that during registration I was assigned an email address with an @wordpress.com extension. I cannot change this in the account settings to the one I used when I registered, because it says that the email address I provided is already in use. But the confirmation email has been sent to the @wordpress.com address. How do I pick this email up, please? I cannot find anything on your support website that tells me the email server settings to create a suitable account in my email program, and it is not being received in the email account I used to set up my wordpress account. Thanks for your help.

It won’t be possible for you to setup an email address with an @wordpress.com extension. So, we’ll need to change the email on your account to a different email to verify your account. Could you let me know what email address you’re trying to change your account to?
