wordpress.com functions.php damaged can't access admin
-
Hello
I deleted something in my functions.php files and now I cannot access the admin panel of my blog.
I cannot access the file via ftp since I use the free wordpress.com hosting and I get a parse error.
Is there anyway to restore the backup file I have? any other way to access the site structure or the admin page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sounds unusual since we WordPressdotcom users do not have access to our site’s PHP files.
What happens when you go to https://lifestylekiki.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ Are you able to access the WP Admin area via that link? Do you get an error message? If so, please list it here.

It’s the function.php of a theme. that addess points to an old site that I no longer use.
When trying to access http://lifestylekiki.com/wp-admin/ or the site itself I get this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home2/kiki/public_html/wp-content/themes/fashionistas/functions.php on line 236

Hi again, Thanks for the additional information.
You’ve posted your question in the forums for sites hosted on WordPressdotcom. Help for self-hosted sites using the standalone WP software can be found over at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.
Standalone WP and WordPressdotcom are separate entities; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Good luck and best wishes.
