  Hello,

  We signed up for WordPress premium a couple of weeks ago. We got confused about the difference between wordpress.org and wordpress.com, while figuring it out we signed up for a premium hosting plan with the company that provided domain parking for us.

  If we use .com, do we even need to be paying for hosting with that company? Or could wordpress provide us with it?

  Upgrades provided by WordPress.COM apply only to the blogs hosted by WordPress.COM and not to blogs on WordPress.ORG software installed that are web hosted by any other host.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums.
