WordPress.com Invite Autor – Autor inscription as publisher only

  Hi there!

  Everything is stated in the subject I believe…

  As Administrator I sent an invitation to a person in my company to have him as autor.
  He did receive the invitation but cannot create an account as autor only on WordPress.com?

  Would you be so kind as to help please?

  Hi,
  Keep in mind, that after you sent the author invitation, the person will be able to access your blog by visiting the My Blogs section of his/her dashboard when he/she logs in to WordPress.com.

  So this means the Autor has to create a blog on WP first ?

  It means the author should have a WP account. With an account you can have several blogs created by your own or blogs where you’ve been given editor/author roles. With this in mind, the author doesn’t need to create any blog, just have the WP account and then he/she will have author role access to your blog.

  I am confused…sorry

  When signing up you ARE REQUESTED to choose a blog name?

  How can you login without having a blog?

  You can actually get a WordPress.com account without a blog being created. Use the following link:
