wordpress.com landing page not user friendly

  i landed on wordpress.com to read some blogs, but i only see;-
  1. my romanian adventure comes to an end
  2. my top 10 ipod photo apps.
  3. sound of snow crunching
  4. ho ho ho its gingerbread time
  5. 12 seconds cocktails
  6. define success in afghanistan

  then i’m told there’s
  ‘The best of 239,985 bloggers, 261,464 new posts, 334,725 comments, & 61,649,887 words today on WordPress.com.’

  i was looking for ‘read more postings of the blogs’ but i cant find them. its frustiating.

  maybe its right in front of my eyes, i just didnt see it. if so please tell me. sorry my computer is crawling with worms, i cant type CAPITAL WITHOUT USING CAP LOCK.

  That’s what it looks like. You can give feedback to staff directly via the button on the right-hand side of that page, where they ask for suggestions.

  how do i read the ”The best of 239,985 bloggers, 261,464 new posts, 334,725 comments, & 61,649,887 words today on WordPress.com.’ starting from the wordpress.com landing page

  You don’t start there; that page is TERRIBLE.

  You can either hit the Random Blog button at the right-hand side of the Admin bar at the top of the page, or you can look at Category or Tag pages, or you can search WordPress on the Admin bar, right-hand side.

  thanks raincoaster. i still cant find ‘random post’ or admin bar on the top of the page for wordpress.com. or category or tag pages.

  i give up.

  but rather straight to blog of the day as suggested by you.

  why cant they just incorporate botd.wordpress.com on the page of wordpress.com so i dont have to waste my time surfing like a clueless, headless chicken. ;0

  @atatkk-what raincoaster sees on the landing page may be different than what you see because she is most likely logged in to WordPress.com.

  But, if you are using a modern browser, you should see a gray bar at the very top of the page with a search box on the right. You can search for a keyword, or alternately use the tags page that tsp suggested, or the blog of the day link raincoaster suggested.
