wordpress.com login on home page needs attention?

I was able to login by hitting a different link in google search results but login from wordpress.com is redirecting to a server can not be found result in safari atm:

The Admin login link for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/All you need to do is replace NAME_OF_BLOG with your actual blog name in the URL.

if you still have an issue, will you please post the URL of the exact site you are trying to login to?

i was at wordpress.com and clicked on the login button which returned a dead server in both safari and chrome — i then navigated to wordpress.com/wp-login (via google search because i did not know if wordpress.com puts the login page elsewhere) and was able to login on both browsers — this was a bug report for you guys to check the wordpress.com homepage login button redirection link — i have no issues – just thought it might need an update to the redirect link from the wordpress.com homepage – i always login from the wordpress.com website, i don’t have a .com blog up there at all — atm. thanks very much for quick response!

Having the same problem. I always go to wordpress.com to log in. When I go there now and click on Log in this comes up. This webpage is not available DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

I think it has something to do with the “.” in front of the domain name?

When I attempt to login here <https://wordpress.com/ > I receive the “server down” message.
I was able to login via the support forum and my website admin links.

i only opened the ticket to alert you guys to a typo in the redirection url so i guess it would be handled by whoever does front end development – or maybe the latest update did something because there was a bug mentioned earlier today that 4.4 altered permalinks for one .org user – but no others I am aware of at this time. beyond alerting you to a possible bug – it is a non issue for me — just trying to be helpful. thanks for all your volunteer efforts — you are so appreciated. -
