WordPress.com or .org?

  I am trying to make a video hosting website similar to youtube. Should I use wordpress.org or .com.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there! Both WordPress.com and the open source software project WordPress.org have solutions that may work for you. Here’s an outline of the differences: http://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=com+and+org

  With WordPress.com you can get an upgrade called VideoPress. This upgrade is included in the premium and business packages. VideoPress lets you upload and playback videos directly on your WordPress.com blog. For more information, you can check out this document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/

  As for your options for WordPress.org software and self-hosted sites, you can do a lot of different things, but, you’ll have to look for info on that on the WordPress.org forums. These forums are only equipped to handle questions for the WordPress.com side of things.

  Thanks for the reply. For some reason I can’t upgrade to WordPress Premium. I want to use VideoPress but I can’t upgrade. That’s why I thought I should use WordPress.org instead.
