WordPress.com REALLY slow tonight starting about 5pm MST

  The Help page came up fine. But any normal post, page, admin URL (like dashboard or log out), is taking about a minute to respond. It sits and churns on “Transferring data from s0.wp.com” for about a minute. Doing some “routine” maintenance? This is true both from behind my workplace’s firewall and at home on 32Mb Comcast Blast broadband.

  Since it happened just as I was leaving work, and then again when I booted up at home, I assumed it was widespread and ongoing. Shortly after posting this (a few more 1-minute clicks), WordPress started working normally again.
