  I paid the $13 for the redirect because we are self hosting our blog now. The permalink structure is different on our new site, but I thought I’d give it a shot because it said it would try and match the redirect. I does not seem to do that at all, and all the posts 404 because of the date permalink structure part of the URL. Seems to me if the plugs are the same the redirect could be made to be smart and map the old post to the new post using the old and new sitemaps or something like that. Even a manual mapping method would be preferred.

  FYI the old wordpress.com blog was blog.angelmedflight.com and is now redirected to http://www.angelmedflight.com/blog
