WordPress.com Service level Agreement

We are seriously considering migrating from our current blog on a hosted wordpress engine to WordPress.com in the business plan with subdomain mapping – we have permission from out company head to go ahead, providing we have answers to the following (which I have not been able to find online):

    – Is there any assistance offered when we migrate? For example, helping us check that the new site works well
    – Can you help us validate that the import has worked?
    – What are the main differences between running a hosted WP engine and being directly on WordPress.com?
    – What are the WordPress.com SLA’s? What is the service availability / guaranteed uptime? What are the SLA credits? If the site goes down, how long can we expect issues to be resolved and the site to be back up?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Sarah –

This is probably a discussion best held privately via email, would you mind sending over your questions to help@wordpress.com?

The team members there will be able to get you the answers you’re looking for.
