  This is going to seem like a dumb question but I am totally new to this so I need some help here.

  I have a blog. The adress is http://www.dtownsports.com

  I am writing this blog using godaddy.com hosting with the wordpress blog building.

  Now, Im trying to install wordpress.com stats onto my blog at dtownsports.com. I have the zip file activated onto my dashboard and everything is good to go. However, in order to activate it, it is asking me for my API key. I searched on the Internet for a way to find my API key because I could not find it on my dashboard. Most sites I found said that I need to create a free wordpress acount and then use the API key they give me to activate the plugin. My question is, if I use this free accounts API key, will the plugin work for my godaddy hosted site?

  Yes it will. Go to users > your profile here in your account at wordpress.COM and your API key will be right at the top of that page.

  Thanks for the help. Thats the only thing I wasnt sure of. Because I do have 2 random blogs on this free account. I just wasnt sure if that Key would work on my godaddy hosted account!
