WordPress.com Stats on my website

I have installed this plugin on my website (which is not on wordpress.com domain) and it doesn’t works. There is a “WordPress.com Stats needs attention: please enter an API key or disable the plugin.” warning in the control panel, i used my API key (which perfectly works for askimet) but it doesn’t work.
It is possible tu install this plugin even out of wordpress.com domain? -
The stats plugin specifically refers back to wp.com and unfortunately it’s not possible to exctract it.
I would send in Feedback or email support (at) wordpress dot com on Monday and ask one of the gods for a bit of help. It’s been mentioned in the past that this sort of problem can occasionally happen and they can fix it without too much difficulty.

Need to define “not work” please. Are you getting some sort of error? Are no results showing up? etc. Please remember that you’re the only one who is currently seeing what is occuring. “Not work” doesn’t give us anything to go on.
