WordPress.com stats problems (againnn)
-
I having problems again with the WordPress.com stats plugin. 2 Year ago i installed this plugin and got a key from WordPress.com. In those 2 years, i changed/installed the WordPress CMS on my host 2 times. On the second installation of wordpress i used again my old API Key which i used before. At that time when i installed the plugin in my CMS and i entered the API key, it said that is belongs to a different owner. At that i mad also an forum post, which is still there.

Since a few days i removed my old site, and started a new site on the same Domain, but it seems its still whining about the wrong owner. I cant get in touch with support. They seems to be back at 1 March.
WordPress.com stats plugin works great with an blog on wordpress.com, but not for people like my which use an own wordpress cms on their host.
I checked my account on wordpress.com, if there are more blogs listed. There nothing listed. Not at Site stats, not subscriptions. No double users.
When you entered the API key and you click on “Add blog to WordPress.com”. If i use this, i get the next error
“Error from last API Key attempt:
The owner of that API Key (Myname) is not on the access list for this blog (5872541). Stats was installed using a different API key. The owner of the original key can add users to the access list, or you can contact WordPress.com support.
“Theres nothing on the access list, neither no double users. Alot of people which use the wordpress.org CMS and this plugin, they having problems. The wordpress.com support recognize this problem already.
Does wordpress.com support have to fix something on my account before i can use it again?
