it’s a good idea to have two statcounters, not only to compare stats in case a day’s results are puzzling, but as a backup when one of the counters goes down. Statcounter.com was down for a bit recently too. Time Thief has a good article on the various statcounters on her blog…

Glad I seen then this post, was just about to create one asking whats wrong with stats
for me on our blog when i check the stats the busiest day is shown incorrect

5/6 says 895 views but 5/11 says 901 therefor 5/11 was the busiest day

yet and still it says 5/6 was the busiest day.

I use Sitemeter and Feedjit so I know the hits are coming…my WP stats are DEAD!!!:OP

hopefully the stats are being recorded in the background and not being displayed. I ran a campaign this morning and I want to measure it’s success or failure so the stats are really important.
