  I’ve recently visited the cart in the WordPress.com store and came across some strings. (→ Screenshot)

  • What’s the responsible string for the blue button “Kauf Individuelles Design …”?
  • Where can I find the defined format for the automatic renewal update?
  • The phrase at the end (link)

    in the wpfooter div at the end of the page overlaps with the rest of the text.

  To answer your first question:

  What’s the responsible string for the blue button “Kauf Individuelles Design …”?

  That string is dependent not on one string, but at least three:

  Kauf

  “Dependent on three strings” is a bad idea. Makes it really difficult to translate properly. To translate into german we would have to change the ordering of the words.

  It looks like “Purchase” is a call to action here. Right? In that case we should translate as “Individuelles Design für … kaufen”.

  I think this is another case of translating words instead of phrases ;)

  Can’t we have a string like

  Purchase %(upgrade)s for %(price)d
