  I need to merge my wordpress.com site wordpress.org to allow for plug-ins

  I want to ad a cart to my wordpress.com site, as well as have the option to add plug-ins. I’m lead to the assumption that I need to merge my wordpress.com site to wordpress.org? can you walk me through steps on how to accomplish this?

  It’s not that you would merge your site, but that you would move it. You would want to set up a new self-hosted WordPress site somewhere like Dreamhost or Bluehost (suggested hosts listed at http://wordpress.org/hosting ), then export any content you have on your wordpress.com-hosted site and import it into your new site.
