  I have a blog with wordpress.com. I wish to get it selfhosted. While choosing a domain name should i use the name i already have or use any new name.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can keep the domain name you currently have and transfer it to another host but it must be 60 days since you created the domain to do so, and once you transfer off of WordPress.com, you can’t transfer it back. Instructions for that step are here
