wordpress.com to wordpress.org help!!

    I have already starting making my blog on wordpress.com and then realised i need wordpress.org more, ive already created a domain name “solefound.com” under wordpress.com hosting.
    so i’ve started the process of self hosting to wordpress.org and once i try get into the wordpress dashboard it take me to wordpress.com instead of wordpress.org,
    do i have to wait for the domain name to transfer over?
    any tips?

    Yes: your login on the other site is entirely independent of your login here. If you switched the domain over to the new site, remove the domain mapping here, set the whatever.wordpress.com URL to primary, and wait for the DNS to settle out.
