WordPress.com transfer to WordPress.org

    I need help transferring my domain from wordpress.com to wordpress.org, I just mapped and paid it on wordpress.com yesterday. I don’t care if I lose any content, as I just started it yesterday, I just need to upload my purchased theme and everything, so I need it to be on wordpress.org :-)

    So, your domain doesn’t need to be transferred anywhere. You can point to to another server (hosting service), with these steps:

    Change a Domain’s Name Servers

    You’ll need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)
