WordPress.com URL linking takes too long

  In the Google Chrome, using WORDPRESS.COM, Whenever I mark a link with the command Ctrl+K as a link and press ‘Add a link’, it takes like forever and disables any sort of clicks anywhere on the webpage. Screenshot it attached.
