WordPress.com "VIP" Theme?

  Hi,
  All things digital a blog which wordpress shows as an example of a theme from wordpress.com says at the bottom it’s wordpress.com VIP. Do you know which theme this blog is using?

  All VIP hosted blogs have custom designed themes under copyright. We cannot use them or purchase them.

  That’s interesting. Then why are they called wordpress.com?

  What does it mean VIP. Does this mean that famous people agree to have a wordpress.com blog and then wordpress uses it for advertising.

  I am not absolutely sure, but I believe that all ad revenue from WP.com VIP blogs stays with the bloggers. That’s one reason they pay the rate they do.
