  hi, i have started this wordpress.com but have been told to use wordpress.org.
  I still really don’t under stand. Would i get more plugins in .org I would like to use .org if so could i get a refund and start it as a .org
  Better still if i can add plugins to .com how can I there does not seem to be easy access to get plugins like statcounter.com etc

  Hi there,

  You would indeed get more plugins with WordPress.org, as we do not allow third party plugins at all with WordPress.com. All of the plugin functionality which we allow is already built in or is available with our widgets.

  I would be able to give you a partial refund for your WordPress.com Premium package, minus the cost of your domain. Domains are only refundable for the first 48 hours after they are registered. You would still receive $73 back as long as you requested the refund by 2014-07-15. You will also not lose your domain. You can just point your domain towards whatever hosting you decide to use to set up your WordPress.org hosting with, and after another 30 days or so you can transfer your domain if you so desire!

  Hi David,

  That’s not a problem! I’ve gone ahead and cancelled your WordPress.com Premium bundle and issued you a refund for the $73. Depending on your bank, you should be getting it back in your account between a few days and a few weeks.
