WordPress.com – WordPress.org Transfer: Major Headache
-
OK so I’m sure the support forum gets questions about transfers all the time, but I’ve read a bunch of them and they don’t quite solve my problem.
Basically, I’ve already duplicated my site–with a new theme–on bluehost, and I need to get my wordpress.com url.
Here is my wordpress.com site:
http://www.constantcopywriting.com
Here is my wordpress.org site:
http://69.195.124.114/~constav9/
As you can see, they have the same content…
… I just need the wordpress.com URL to point to the Bluehost.com site.
I read a bunch of the WordPress tutorials on this, and they suggested that changing nameservers would be the easiest way to point my WordPress URL to my bluehost site.
The thing is…
… I don’t see how that would work??
I can’t find any bluehost nameservers specific to my website. There are only general nameservers for bluehost.com. If I change the name servers from WordPress.com to bluehost.com, how will the special domain services control panel even know what my new site’s address is? They never ask me for it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Read right down to the bottom here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/ it has the nameservers for Bluehost.
