  How do I access my wordpress.com/author page? It does not appear in my Dashboard. It is not my correct homepage and I want to either delete it or edit it. I can’t seem to do either. The page in question is:

  http://gualtierigeology.wordpress.com/author/gualtierigeology/

  It shows up when I search for gualtierigeology on google. I do not want this page to exist!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You’re out of luck: that page will always exist as long as you create posts at WordPress.com. In fact, it’ll exist afterwards, since accounts here cannot be deleted.

  If you don’t want it to show up as high in Google, create more posts. Posts have more googlejuice.

  What if I don’t want to create posts? I am only adding pages. I didn’t think I was adding posts. I think that was something I did very early on when I didn’t know what I was doing. There is no way to delete that post? I don’t plan on making posts anyway.

  The author page always exists in WordPress.com.

  If you don’t make posts, it’s unlikely any of your Pages will push it out of the top page of Google. Pages don’t have any power with Google. Only Posts do.
