WordPress.com's request for an ID and Secret Key my WordPress. org Bogs
-
I noticed that I am supposedly requested to register with WordPress.com to get an ID and Secret Key. The only reason I use WordPress.com is to use Jetpack so why do I need a secret key for my three WordPress.org websites: http://www.bellplacebusiness.com/Affiliate Marketing, http://www.bellplaceeditor.com/Innovation, and http://www.walter-bell.com? I started out with WordPress.com, but found out that if I published a post with WordPress.com which someone found not to their liking, the post was deleted and taken down. I switched to WordPress.org, signed up with Bluehost and have used both organizations with great satisfaction. I use WordPress.com only for the features in Jetpack, so why do I need a secret key for Jetpack?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I assume that this is a security issue and you need it so no other person can gain access.
Have you looked for an answer to your question here? http://jetpack.me/support/
Also note that the Jetpack forum is at WordPress.org http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.
If you can’t find help at either one then you can file a jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
