WordPress.com/xmlrpc.php no longer works for blog feed

    We are using an RSS feed to pull our blog into a web application. We are using wfignite.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php and this has been working for a few years. This week it stopped working. It appears that the url has changed to wfignite.wordpress.com/feed

    Because we are using in a web application, we must initiate a code change and QA process to change the url in our code. Why did it change and can we be notified of RSS protocol changes in the future? Can it be re-enabled or something?
