  Need to move a domain purchased on WordPress.com to wordpress.org. I’ve already installed WordPress through my hosting serivce, but every time I try to login to heartinspo.com (via wordpress.org admin- login…. it redirect me.)

  help!

  Hi Britt,

  I see that you updated your primary domain so heartinspodotcom.wordpress.com should no longer be redirecting to: heartinspo.com.

  However, I see that you still set your nameservers to our. Please go to Store > My Domains > Edit Domain > Name Servers and set your nameservers to your new host. Here’s the direct link:

  After you save, please clear out your cache and cookies using the guide below:

  Then you should be pointed to your WordPress.org site. Just note that your domain is still registered through us, while you are hosting with your new host. So, for your site to be up you will need to renew your registration through us yearly, and your host for hosting.

  Please note that after 60 days (there is a lock on newly registered domains up to 60 days as per ICANN rules) from the date of registration, you can transfer the registration as well if you don’t want to renew this in two different places.
