wordpress.ORG installation (not blog) bug. Field that won't stay filled.

Hi,
A friend of mine built a WordPress plugin that happens to be custom post type. That post has a field throught which a post_meta is pulled in the post template. The functionality works well: the info feeded into the field is correctly pulled into the right div in the template and shows online. But, each time I quit the post admin page, the info entered in the field is lost.
I guess some screenshots would help. You’ll find some here plus the custom post template AND the plugin file :
