WordPress.org reader?

  Hi All,
  I’m considering moving from wordpress.com to .org but one of the great features I enjoy in .com is the reader. I find it useful for discovering new sites.

  If I moved to .org how do other bloggers know my site exists? or will my posts on my .org site still appear on the reader

  Your tags and categories and your blog will no longer be in the Reader – but if someone has subscribed to your site using a custom domain name they will still be subscribed, if they subscribe to your-site.wordpress.com they will not get the updates – so in that case you would want to make a Post or two about having moved
