I want to cancel my domain name

  I just signed up for wordpress.org not realizing that I would have to pay for hosting, etc. I just want to use the wordpress.com address–the FREE blog service. When I paid, it said I had 48 hours to cancel, but I couldn’t find out how to do that. Can you help? Thx, Jess

  I have canceled your domain and fully refunded your purchase as requested.
  The domain itself will get sent back to the registrar. The registrar will decide when to release it back to the open market, which is not guaranteed but which usually happens within a few days.
