Wordress pretending to publish posts but just sends to draft

Hey guys,
Several times wordpress has said it has published my post. The title link changes to say it’s posted and it emails out the post as published. It publishes to twitter too.
I can read the post (and the link is not the preview link).
After thinking it has published, I check back several few hours later to see in fact, NO, it’s not published but somehow ended up back in drafts. What’s that about?
It’s very, very, annoying. Is it something I’m doing my end?

We Volunteers answering forum questions do not have backend access to blogs. Only Staff do and only they can apply technical fixes. Before contacting them please let us know if you tried editing the “draft” post and changing the post Status in the Publish box, prior to clicking “Publish”. Are you the only Admin of that blog? I had a similar experience on another blog and it turned out my boss was sending my posts to Draft
