words being linked to ads

There are words that are being linked to ads in my blog and I haven’t set this up in any way. No matter what I do to unlink them, they return.
Is this a virus I’ve acquired? If someone can help me out, that would be great.

You may have a contaminated browser extension,
add-on or toolbar. Try disabling any and all you have
installed, especially unfamiliar ones.

omg I had so much junk on there! I just disable and removed all add ons and plug-ins. I’m sure I deleted things I actually need, but I’ll find out as I go along. Thanks for your input.
As long as I know this isn’t something WordPress is doing, I’ll keep an eye on it.
