Words in my blog post becoming links to ads

  I have premium and ads are showing up. I thought premium turned those off. What gives?

  We do not run ads as you have described.

  Please note that it’s possible for ads to appear in your browser that were *not* placed there by WordPress.com. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.

  Thanks for your help! I will check it out. This is on a Mac so I was not suspecting viruses or malware.

  It still could be malware. Browser extensions are actually the same files whether you’re on a Mac or PC. Essentially, the browser itself is their operating system.
