Words sillabified
-
Hi! When I edit the text of a page the words are not sillabified, but then when I update the page it turns up the words have been sillabified, and the text is in English, so I don’t want that. What can I do to prevent that from happening? The blog I need help with is http://mctraduccioneseng.wordpress.com . Thank you!

Hi! Yes, I copied and pasted from Word, then tried copying to the notepad and pasting 8so that the text would “clean”), then I wrote the text from zero on the page and still keeps on sillabifying… At first I thought it was because it had set up Spanish as the interface language (that’s the language of the main blog), but then i changed it and it doesn’t seem to solve it. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

That’s the default in the theme you’re using. If you had the Custom Design upgrade you could get rid of it once for all. Without the upgrade you can only do that by adding code to each and every post. That’s not worth the trouble, in my opinion, so better select a different theme.

Ok, thank you! Just in case I might need it, how can I do it by adding code? I don’t quite understand that… Thanks again.

You’d need to switch the editor to Text (=code) and enclose the whole content in this code:
<div style="-webkit-hyphens:none;-moz-hyphens:none;hyphens:none;word-wrap:normal;"> CONTENT HERE </div> -
