Wordspress design is gone after transferring to Shopify

    Dear everypne.
    I transferred my GoDaddy domain hands-to-hearts.com from WordPress to Shopify yesterday. As I just changed which provider was aiming at the hands-to-hearts.com domain at GoDaddy, I figured that I would still be able to log into wordpress admin and see my previous design on wordpress.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi there,

    I’d just like to clarify that I’m understanding the issue properly if that’s ok?

    You purchased the domain: hands-to-hearts.com through GoDaddy

    You have a WordPress.com account and website

    You had mapped the hands-to-hearts.com domain to your WordPress.com website previously.

    You then mapped the hands-to-hearts.com domain to your Shopify website.

    Now you’re unable to see your WordPress.com website in your WordPress.com account?

    Is that correct?

    The h2h.wpengine.com link you provided is a self-hosted WordPress website, so this is partly why I’m asking for clarification.

    If the hands-to-hearts.com domain was pointing to a self-hosted site, then no, you wouldn’t have access to that site after the transfer in your WordPress.com account. In which case I’d recommend getting a hold of your hosting company and discussing the issue with them.

    If it was mapped to a .com site, then I’d recommend providing the .wordpress.com URL for the previous site and perhaps a staff member would be able to investigate further from their end.

    Hi there,

    Looks like that your WordPress site was also hosted by GoDaddy. Therefore you need to contact them and ask them about accessing your old site.
