Work Account Sign-In Issues

This is my personal account. I have a work account that a colleague created for me. A couple months ago I set a password for that account. Now when I try to sign into my work account it says that there is NO EMAIL and NO USERNAME associate with that account. When I saw that I decided to dig up password retrieval requests from WP in my work email inbox. In the email, it confirms that my username is wfranco (for the work account, the one I’m trying to access). I hit the ‘request new password’ link and it takes me to the WP website where I create a new password. Everything works just fine but then when I try to sign in the same thing happen. No username or email associated with that account. Any advice? Is there any way that I can use this account (my personal) to edit my employer’s website rather than having my employer create one for me?

There is no “wfranco” username on WordPress.com.
Are you sure that the wfranco account is not for a self-hosted WordPress.org website?

My coworker had to delete that account and made me a new one called “ryanwesf”. And now I cant sign into that account either.
