Work on site with old one still active

  Am I able to build a site preview without selecting or linking a domain name to it? I have a website active now with a domain I eventually want to link to the wordpress site, but in order to start building my wordpress site it seems as though I have to choose a new domain or select an existing one before getting access to the builder.

  No problem. You’re welcome to stage your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

  Start by creating your site with the plan of your choice:

  And then just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready. Then you can either transfer the domain or map it to our servers.
