Working Offline from Mac (the Pages program)
-
I usually write offline and type all of my posts in this program called Pages (I have a Mac, and I don’t have Microsoft Office; so I use the default Mac word processing program, which is called Pages; not to confuse with the WordPress pages). Now, whenever I copy directly from Pages to the field where I’m supposed to type my blog on WordPress, all the formatting (the italics) and the links disappear. Is there a way for me to be able to copy directly (without so much hassle) from Mac Pages to the WordPress blog field without losing the links?
Normally I export the Mac Pages file as HTML, and then open that HTML file and copy it to WordPress. I haven’t had a problem before, but now, all of a sudden, when I posted a new post, it ruined the whole format of my blog! Someone, please, help!

The code you include is doing this. Pages – like Word – will make this happen.
Marsedit / Ecto are good offline editors, Journaler I think supports publishing to the blog too.
I’d look at those. For the current problem, go to Manage > Edit
edit the latest post
click the Code tab
now remove all the tags
save
and then when you know it’s not broken the blog you can edit and style it using our toolbar.
