Working with Smugmug

  I’d like to create a blog that compliments my online portfolio and presence on Smugmug. I’m looking for advice on how to best use WordPress in this capacity. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated as I dip my toes in the SEO pool.

  For starters, do you know whether you’ll use our hosted service or your own installation? Here are some of the differences:

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  Personally speaking, if I were in your shoes, I’d probably get a Premium plan here, then post about your Smugmug images. Find a theme that would look good with the pictures (this one comes to mind.) And then use the tips here for engagement:
