World Clocks

I can adjust the size of it. Put it up in your sidebar so I can take a look. Is it on this blog, http://ladyjatbay.wordpress.com/ ? If not, give me the link to the blog you are talking about.

https://hungarianculturalassociation.wordpress.com Its private, until I am finished. Do I need to give you a code or something?

Sorry, I got sidetracked helping my landlord.
Replace the code I gave you with this:
<div style="text-align:center;">[gigya src="http://www.worldtimeserver.com/clocks/wtsclock001.swf?color=000000&wtsid=HU" width="150" height="150" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" ] <p style="text-align:center;">Hungary</p></div> -

Sacred Path, I hate to say this but I was looking at the clock today and it is set for US time zone. The time I see on there is my time. I see you have HU in the code but there must be something else missing. I hate to be a bother.
-
In the post you don’t like, I’ve got several clocks you can use by copy-pasting the code you can see below each clock:
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/08/16/widgets-for-wpcom-3-analog-clocks/2/
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/08/16/widgets-for-wpcom-3-analog-clocks/3/Plus digital clocks here:
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/08/06/widgets-for-wpcom-2-digital-clocks/They all display your local time.
-
If you will read my first email I was looking for Hungarian time not MY time. I know what my time is as do everyone looking at their computer. I have a clock now thanks to sacredpath but there was a glitch in the code, so I am waiting for him to help me with that.
Thank you.

a) Your first post above doesn’t make it clear that Hungarian time is not your local time.
b) When visitors see one of those clocks, they will see your local time, not theirs.My post also includes links to other sites with more clocks (that do work correctly). You can visit this page:
http://www.clocklink.com/gallery.php?category=ANALOG
Or this:
http://www.clocklink.com/gallery.php?category=DIGITAL
If you find a clock you like, click “View HTML tag”, select the options you prefer, copy the second code, paste it here between backticks and we’ll convert it for you. -
That seems to be a problem with the clock website itself, or perhaps the clock does not like the gigya shortcode.
The code is set for Hungary. I went back to the site and regenerated the code and it still does not work.
Perhaps we can try a different world clock if you can find one you like.

Sacred path, it really doesn’t matter which clock we use as long as it is Hungarian time. I am sorry, when I looked at it yesterday, I was focused more on the visual and I just assumed the time was correct. This is the frustration of trying to be a website owner when you are inefficient with code and html. I wish I could do it myself. I don’t like modern things but if there is another world clock out there, anything would be fine. I hate to be a bother though. clocklink.com is the only other world clock I found. do you think that might work? The website is much more confusing though then worldtimeserver, which is made for dummies like me! LOL

<embed src=”http://www.clocklink.com/clocks/0051-red.swf?TimeZone=CET&” width=”150″ height=”150″ wmode=”transparent” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”>
I tried to use this code from clock link but it didn’t work.
-
It needs to be converted to this:
[gigya src="http://www.clocklink.com/clocks/0051-red.swf" flashvars="TimeZone=CET&" width="150" height="150" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" ] -
By the way, Rich, that’s the way the worldtimeserver clock would have worked too. When you see this:
src=”whatever.swf?etc&etc&etc”
You must break it to this:
src=”whatever.swf” flashvars=”etc&etc&etc”

Ah! Panos you are the Gigya master. I’ll file that away in the dusty attic that is my mind and hopefully will remember it.
