worldpress desktop app for windows

    Installed the app but can not manage my site which already exist and is working. I added the url in my profile but when i check My sites it does not show

    When you say it does not show your site, can you clarify what you mean by it? The WordPress.com desktop apps basically do what you can do by visiting https://wordpress.com/ on a web browser.

    All you need is a WordPress.com account that you can get at https://wordpress.com/start. Once you have a WordPress.com account and have your sites added to it, it should normally show up when you login into your WordPress.com desktop too with your WordPress.com account.

    I suggest you visit this page https://wordpress.com/sites and ensure that you have added your site to your WordPress.com account.

    And then, open the WordPress.com app you have downloaded on your Windows computer. You should be able to see the same list of sites added there too.

    Hi there,

    What site are you trying to manage via the app? If it’s a self-hosted site using the open source WordPress.org software, you’ll only see it in the WordPress Desktop app if you have the Jetpack plugin installed and connected to your WordPress.com account. I don’t see any Jetpack connected sites in your account at the moment.
