Hi – When I look at my blog on the net, ‘log in’ is available, available to anyone. I click on it, and my login information appears I simply click on it and I am in. I am not pleased that anyone can access themselves into my Weblog, shall we say ‘office’, and change or or add anything they wish. Is this a problem that can easily be resolved? I too have been using WordPress for quite awhile now, and like others,I have quite a lot still to learn. Willing, of course, but worried at times that I may be jeopardizing my site. Can this problem be solved by removing ‘press this’ from my browser page. Or, also, is there somewhere I could go that will remove the automatic display of my log on information. Is the fact that I had at sometime clicked the ‘remember me’ square responsible? Thanks for any help that may be forthcoming – Gordon (ispahan)

We need a link to your blog please.

Generally though, no one can access your blog unless they have your username and password, and when someone else clicks on the log in link, the fields for username and password are empty. They would have to know them in order to log in.

If you want to remove the meta widget from the sidebar of your blog, go to appearance > widgets in your dashboard and remove it.
