Would a refund be possible when auto-renewal was active without my knowledge?
-
I created the domain DFW Pain and Muscle last year, but had to subsequently abandon it for personal reasons. I was not aware that an auto-renewal option had been activated. Today a charge was made to my card on file of $26.00 USD, and I would very much appreciate a refund. I understand that it is not usually your policy to offer refunds for renewals, but I was unaware such an option existed. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated, and if I determine I want to create another domain I will return to WordPress gladly.

My records show that you cancelled the renewal in time so you won’t be charged and your domain will expire naturally on March 31st. Banks sometimes put a hold on funds that are authorized, so you may not have access to the funds for a couple of days, but the funds will never leave your bank.
If you don’t intend to use the domain dfwpainandmuscle.com at all, I can also cancel it for you now so your free domain, http://dfwpainandmuscle.wordpress.com will continue to work as expected after March 31st.
If you do intend to use the domain dfwpainandmuscle.com elsewhere, please let me know. If that’s the plan, you will want to transfer the domain rather than canceling it. Once you cancel a domain it can be hard to get it back. If you are going that way, let me know and I’ll be happy to explain your options.
