Would deactivating wordpress effect the stats and followers I moved using jetpac
-
I recently moved my blog to a self hosted site and I used jetpack to move all my followers and stats. I would like to deactivate the blog I have here with wordpress but would that effect my followers and stats that I moved?
Also, i can’t seem to figure out how to deactivate my blog if someone can let me know the steps for this as well that would be greatly appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t know how deleting a blog would affect you stats and followers, but I’d advise in any event that you merely set your WordPress.com blog to private. Then no one will be able to read it and search engines will stop indexing it. You can then even use it as a backup for your new site by periodically importing your posts to it. Instructions to set it to private can be found here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

Deactivating your WordPress.com blog should not affect your followers and stats as you already moved them to your new site using Jetpack.
Delete Site support doc has some options for you. Please read them carefully and decide which option suits you the best. My recommendation would be not to delete the site but keep it and make it private, just in case you change mind in future. Once deleted, your wp.com site can’t be recovered, both the url and the content.
