Would like a refund

  Hey there:

  I just moved my blog over to wordpress.org and since my theme from wordpress.com could not be imported over, I would like to cancel it and get a refund on the Profile design I purchased. When I try to do this from my upgrades page, I get a pop-up box that reads “Cancel and Refund”, but doesn’t allow me to press any buttons, confirm, or anything. It just shows an “X” to close it out. How can I get refunded?

  Hi there!

  I’m happy to refund that purchase. Can you confirm the Premium theme you’d like to cancel? And make sure that your WordPress.com site is not currently using that theme.

  Thanks so much for getting back to me. The premium theme I’d like to cancel is called Profile and wordpress.com is currently not using it. Also, worpress.com premium is going to start charging me tomorrow, so I’d like to cancel this as well.

  Thanks again for your help. Could you confirm the cancellation via email if possible? I’d like to have something on record.

  I’ve removed your Premium Theme and WordPress.com Premium Plan, and refunded the charge associated with Profile. Please keep in mind that it takes 1-2 weeks for the transaction to show up on your financial statement.
