Would like subscribers moved over
-
I have enabled Jetpack on my new site, connected it to WordPress.com, and created a post on my old blog notifying my readers that http://www.trvlbugblog.com has moved to http://trvlbug.co.
According to the forums I read, the next step is to ask one of you to move my subscribers over to the self-hosted site.
Please let me know if you can help.
Many thanks!
The blog I need help with is trvlbugblog.com.

You can actually do this yourself now! Once you’re all linked up with Jetpack you can visit your blogs in WordPress.com:
http://wordpress.com/my-sites/
Select your Jetpack linked site and select Settings from the sidebar. At the bottom, select “migrate followers”.

Let me know if you have any trouble with that! :)

I’m not seeing the migrate followers option, even though Jetpack is installed and active on my new site.
Thoughts?

Make sure you’ve selected the Jetpack site here, not your WordPress.com site:
Let me know if you still don’t see it.

I just checked your dashboard. When I switch the site to choose trvlbug.co and then move to Settings, I see the link to migrate subscribers about halfway down the page.
-
I see that now, but then it won’t let me select the .com site I want to move the subscribers from. trvlbugblog.com isn’t listed.

Okay. So this happening because @travelingcindy isn’t an administrator on the WordPress.com site. You can either have the current admin make you an admin as well, or have the current admin chime in here to confirm that they want the followers moved and specify the specific sites to move from and to.

trvlbugblog.com was initially registered underneath my husband’s account, dwr1127, but I was able to go in and create posts. I believe all the settings are still under his account.
When I linked Jetpack up from trvlbug.co, I linked my email address, not his. Does that make a difference?

I am OK with it! :) Please move all subscribers from trvlbugblog.com to trvlbug.co.
Thanks!

Thanks! Sorry for the confusion. I’ve just started that process. It should complete soon. :)
