Would like the old Post and Editing Tool

  I would like to use the old post/editing tool, if it’s possible. It’s easier for me, more appealing and i’m familiar with it, know how to work it. If i may ? Thank you :)

  H there,

  Go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New
  http://korifaeusmagazine.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

  Then, if you have cookies enabled on your browser your classic editor preference will be saved unless or until your clear your cookies, and it will take you to the classic editor automatically every time you create a new post via the drop-down menu in the black admin bar or edit a post via the edit button on the blog itself.

  What happened to the Edit button from the post taking me to the classic editor?

  Thanks for pointing that out, Chasflemming. I’ve been looking for that one, too. = i can now post using the old editor, ( thanks Timethief) but not edit, using the classic version, ‘cuz the button is missing. :/

  I’ve done all the delete cookies, etc., steps. In fact, I have to delete cookies at least once a month for various WordPress issues, apart from this.

  I normally work in Chrome. If I shift to Firefox, it all works normally.

  For awhile.

  The problem is, you cannot constantly be deleting cookies to solve stability/usability problems because you’re killing your browser’s ability to log you on efficiently to all the sites you use.

  This “new” editor is making WordPress unbelievably high maintenance.

  What happened to the Edit button from the post taking me to the classic editor?

  It was removed and if you click the new editor feedback tag in the sidebar you will find the related threads on this issue.
