Would like to access full history of comments on other blogs

  I was informed that a poster can only access their latest comments on other blogs. It would be useful, if like Disqus, one could access the full history of all their comments on other blogs. You really don’t need all the visuals, which take up space, just the comments.

  Does WordPress destroy all the older comments, or they are just not accessible? It would be better also, if a comment would remain in the person’s own account even if the blogger deleted the comment, deleted the thread or deleted the blog. That gives you one place to keep all your comments, and not have to save them to a word file or email, which is a pain.

  Thank you. My issue is that just being able to see a week’s worth of comments is not so useful. We really don’t need all the visuals, and to see the blog, if that is the problem. Disqus does a good job, where you can view your comment in context, edit or delete it, all from their site, rather than visiting the individual blogs.
