  Trying to delete or make private my old wordpress blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello @darrenr,
  Please post the link to the old WordPress.COM blog in question. http://darrenryan.com/ is not a WordPress site.

  re: delete or private WordPress site/blog
  You can private your old blog, by first switching to that site by going My Sites → SWITCH SITE, then under the privacy settings of that site.

  You can delete the site by following the instructions given here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  NOTE: Deleting a site will delete all the contents associated with that site, which cannot be recovered and the address associated with the deleted site cannot be used by anyone again(not even by the owner).

  So if you just want to start over by keeping your current blog address you can empty your site, instead of deleting it.

  NOTE: Making a blog private, deleting a blog or emptying a blog requires you to be the admin of the account that has the old blog.
